Today I ventured out into the world. The library was my destination.
The public library has always been a source of comfort for me. It could be because my mother used to take my sisters and I there and we would come home with piles of books. Or maybe it's because I like the cool and quiet darkness of the place. When I lived in New York, it was the place I always went to when I was homesick. There or the Staten Island Ferry.
Anyway, I am still seeking ways to make myself feel better. I know I need to get over the disappointment. I'm just having a tough time letting it go. I figured the library was a good place to start. It turned out to be a most fantastic idea.
I learned something new at the library today. Something WONDERFUL that is going to change my life!
Did you know you could check out the back issues of magazines?? I couldn't believe it! I adooore magazines! When I buy them, I keep them forever. I might even have more magazines than books....I don't know....I've never counted.
