In order to give some structure to my blog postings, I've decided to start ( attempt) a daily blog of pictures. Of course, this could be one of those "New Year" things that fizzles out in a few weeks like exercising or drinking less but we'll see. I have several friends who've done this and I thoroughly enjoy them, so what the hay.
I would've posted yesterday, January 1, but the power went out in the afternoon. Apparently, the intranet does not work very well without power. During any power outage, it never fails to dawn on me how reliant we are on the grid. I feel so helpless. No heat, no light to read by, no Internet to surf, no TV, no radio, no one to play board games with.....only one thing left to do really.
