Inaugural Firing
She made it to cone 04!
Loaded and fired for the first time in my little old kiln last night.
I'm used to the huge kilns at school where my back is so sore from bending over and down into the enormous cavity. This little kiln is so much smaller! I think it's the perfect size for me. I'm just not making a a huge quantity of work right now and I would have to wait forever to have enough pots to fill a large kiln.
The next firing will be a glaze firing!

YEEYYYYY!!! You should have smashed it with a bottle of champagne. Although that could have caused some problems...
