I've probably gone way past overkill in the garden photos department but it's just so exciting!  

Something new happens almost every day!

My irises bloomed today.  Ever since I moved them from the front yard, where they got no sun, to the back yard they've really flourished.  There's six or seven gorgeous irises now standing watch over the garden. 

The golden hour.

The time of day when the sunlight is warm and glowy and everything takes on an orange aura.  I love that late afternoon light.  It always inspires me to take pictures in the garden.
