Sunday was cloudy and around 68 - perfect weather for planting.  Finally put in my pachysandra, fountain grass and Chinese snowball that I bought last fall (discounted! woohoo!)  I also took out an old worn out forsythia.  The poor thing was just sad.  It was planted in a spot that gets very little sun and had been severely cut back too many times by the previous owners.  It was just too big of a stump to relocate to a sunnier spot so I dug the entire thing up.  I saved some green clippings to see if they'll root.

I also planted a clematis.  I've wanted one of these for a while but they usually cost more than I'm willing to spend on a plant.  I found a nursery in-town called Habersham Gardens and perused their botanicals with my BFF.  Found a smaller clematis for 20 bucks.  Sweet.  I also grabbed some herbs:  thyme, cilantro, oregano, and dill.

Have I mentioned that I love growing things?
