The Eve of Spring Break.

For those of you not in high school or college anymore, Spring Break means nothing.  But for teachers, it is the light at the end of the tunnel.  It's what gets you through the months of February and March; through the midterms, the graduations tests, and  long work days where when you leave your job the sun has already set.

The majority of the public thinks that teachers choose the profession because of these vacations and of course, summers off.  The breaks are not the REASON that I teach, but they are for sure the reason I continue on.  For without the frequest rests the stress of this job would surely take me to the point of no return.  There is absolutely NO WAY I would make it through the school year.
