Art is not what you see but what you make others see. Edgar Degas

Wednesday

the one where I post a bunch of pictures of a cat

So, this cat we have;  her name is Little.  Also known as "the loud one".
She's smaller than most cats...hence the name.

I'm just gonna lay it out on the table for you and hope she's not too embarrassed by me sharing her personal business. . . . Little has an obsession with laying on things.
Not just anything, but NEW things.
And within SECONDS of that object being placed.
New meaning, a new item that's never been in the house before.

Or new meaning newly placed in that particular spot.

You move a box, she's there.

Lay down a magazine or even a piece of paper, she's on it.

Leave your pants on the floor, she sees it as a new surface for which to nap.

Behold, my collection of evidence.

when I brought out the humidifier last winter

packing for a trip

the box from my new studio AC unit

getting stuff together to sell on craigs

left my pants on the floor

organizing boxes from the closet.

I'm not sure what underlying issues are causing this behavior.
We are considering therapy.
Dr. Katz perhaps?

I may just use these photos at her commitment hearing.
